SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of agriculture, in particular, to methods and devices for destruction of weed plants. The device for destruction of weed plants comprises a traction assembly, a supporting frame, a power source of high voltage, electrode sections, insulating screens, and a grounding electrode. The electrode section consists of two electrodes. Electric power source has two outputs. The first output is connected to the first electrode. The second output is connected to the second electrode. The method for destruction of weed plants is carried out in two stages. At the first stage, the membranes of plant cells are punched, and the values of electrical conductivity of plants are equalised. At the second stage, the plants are destructed completely. The efficiency of destruction of weed plants is increased.
