FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to safe use of chemically hazardous objects and specifically a formulation composition which enables to degas volatile toxic organophosphorus substances inside process facilities not only on surfaces but in air in form of a vapour phase. Described is a formulation composition for degassing volatile toxic organophosphorus substances formed during accidents at chemically hazardous objects, not only on surfaces of internal finishing of facilities but also in the air for further safe use thereof without protective means. The set task is solved by using the disclosed formulation, having the following components (wt %): monoethanolamine - 14.1-17.4; hydrogen peroxide - 5.8-23.6; water - the balance. The formulation, which contains said components, forms a vapour-gas mixture owing to an exothermic reaction between monoethanolamine and hydrogen peroxide.

EFFECT: vapour-gas mixture spontaneously fills the room and contains gaseous chemically active substances capable of degassing volatile toxic organophosphorus substances not only on the surface but also in the air.
