SUBSTANCE: invention relates to grinders of tape materials. Grinder incorporates lengthwise cutter with first cutting roll and second cutting roll and transverse cutter arranged behind the lengthwise cutter. Said cutting roll feature special profiles. In compliance with first version, rolls have saw-like profile. At least three of four sides of tape material strips are located between lengthwise sides of first and second roll saw-like profile and sides of second roll saw-like profile. In compliance with second version, cutting rolls feature deep and high profile with lengthwise sides extending at angle to roll lengthwise axis and adjoining vertical sides or sides inclined at 4 degrees to roll lengthwise axis.
EFFECT: reliable grinding or pelletising of polymer materials.
