FIELD: packaging industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a lid assembly (1) for a container (2) designed for liquids. The assembly comprises a lid (4) which by means of hinges, extending to the holding device, is mounted on the container rotatably on the holding devices, and at least two side anchor grips (3) for fixing the lid on the container, located transversely on the opposite sides of the lid. The anchor grips are formed integrally with the lid in its front part, extend from the plane of the lid to the container (2) and comprise a free end in the form of a hook, and each free end in the form of a hook has slope which engages the downwardly facing edge of the container.
EFFECT: lid assembly formed according to the invention ensures prevention of liquid leakage and a quick and easy opening and closing of the lid.
