FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture. The method of producing granular fertiliser involves spraying molten fertiliser in the upper part of a prilling tower, cooling and solidification of the formed molten droplets upon contact thereof with an ascending air stream; transporting the obtained granules from the lower part of the tower to a self-contained fluidised bed apparatus for cooling thereof with subsequent discharge; feeding air into the fluidised bed apparatus and removing dusty cooling air from the fluidised bed apparatus, wherein the dusty air from the tower is cleaned; the granules are transported into the fluidised bed apparatus with horizontal movement of granules and separate removal of the dusty air from at least two zones of the apparatus, wherein the dusty cooling air from the zone of the fluidised bed apparatus lying first on the path of the granules is directed into a dust air cleaning apparatus, and the dusty cooling air from the next zones of the fluidised bed apparatus is directed into the prilling tower.
EFFECT: invention reduces the volume of dusty air coming for cleaning from the fluidised bed apparatus and as a result reduces power and capital costs for cleaning thereof.
