FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: installation comprises at least two hoppers for intermediate storage of charge material to be charged into a furnace and a unit of a lower gas sealing valve. The unit of the lower gas sealing valve comprises a body, which arranged under hoppers. The body has at least two inlet holes accordingly interacting with one of hoppers, and an outlet hole. Each inlet hole has an appropriate coupled valve seat, providing for a gas impermeable sealing of hoppers. The unit also comprises a mechanism of the gas sealing valve for sealing of inlet holes. The mechanism of the gas sealing valve comprises a single-sided stop plate, having a single sealing surface, which interacts with both of at least two valve seats.
EFFECT: reduced effect of aggressive unfavourable conditions at a sealing surface of a stop plate in a unit of a lower sealing valve.
