FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to metallurgy, particularly to equipment of system of blast furnace charging. The gas-tight valve consists of a case with a seat, of a shut-off disk and of a disk swing mechanism in form of a lever, one end of which is connected with the shut-off disk, while another is connected to a drive shaft mounted perpendicular to plane of a packed opening and coupled with the drive. A funnel is attached to the drive shaft by means of a bracket. The bracket of the funnel is equipped with a roller fixed on the bracket. There is a stop on the case of the valve. The stop is tapered in the direction of the bracket roller of the funnel so, that the bracket roller and the case stop conjugate at open position of the valve and at closing plane of the seat of the packed opening with horizontal plane of the funnel. Channels for supply of cooling gas are made in the seat and in the shut-off disk.
EFFECT: surface of seat plane is protected from contact with loaded charge due to elimination of gap between seat and swing funnel; while contact of seat and shut-off valve reduces wear of seat and contact plane of disk.
