FIELD: metallurgy, namely, charging apparatuses of blast furnaces. SUBSTANCE: charging apparatus includes housing with seat, locking plate and mechanism for rotating it in the form of lever joined by its one end with locking plate and by its other end with drive shaft arranged normally relative to plane of sealed opening. Funnel with ducts for supplying gas is secured to drive shaft by means of bracket. Supporting roller is mounted on lever and it engages with pressure braces connected with their motion drive unit. Seat and locking plate have gas supply ducts. When valve is closed seat ducts coincide with ducts of locking plate. When valve is opened seat ducts coincide with gas supply ducts of funnel. EFFECT: optimal distribution of efforts for removing locking plate from sealed opening, lowered size of valve device and charging apparatus. 4 dwg
