FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: exhaust steam jet silencer comprises case including coaxial stages with steam restrictors composed of helical screen and cover. All stages of the case are furnished with inner noise-absorbing lining. Case first stage is equipped with drain device and connected with exhaust pipe. In compliance with one version, turbine has three stages. Second stage has several vertical tubular silencers formed by perforated rings arranged regularly in turbine case and secured by diaphragms at ends. Expansion chamber provided with conical rings is arranged behind said second stage. Third stage comprises several cylindrical cassettes with noise-absorbing material secured between two mutually perpendicular rows of baffles to terminate in streamlined cover. In compliance with another version, turbine has two stages. Expansion chamber is arranged behind the first stage. Second stage comprises several cylindrical cassettes with noise-absorbing material secured between two mutually perpendicular rows of baffles to terminate in streamlined cover.
EFFECT: efficient silencing, decreased overall dimensions, lower drag.
