FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: silencer is intended for exhaust steam jet noise reduction. Damper consists of upper and lower stages. Silencer incorporates a casing, sound-absorbing lining, roof, drainage system, exhaust pipeline. Sound-absorbing inner lining is arranged with clearance relative to inner side surface of the body and is made of multiporous adsorbent braided from porous threads, which operates by the principle of Helmholtz resonator. Upper stage represents a sound-absorbing dissipative unit and consists of a set of sound-absorbing elements with thickness H, installed with gap S between them, the efficiency of noise absorption depends on the ratio H/S, and below cover silencer, made in the form of a cone with insulated sound-absorbing lining, there is a protective grid. Sound absorbing elements of silencer can be made in the form of cylindrical perforated cartridges, clamped between parallel horizontal plates with through holes, number and arrangement of which corresponds to the number and arrangement of cylindrical perforated cartridges, the noise absorbing fibrous material is located between cylinders and is wound on outer surface of cylinders, for reinforcement and preventing slippage clamped clamps, at that steam jet is directed inside the perforated cylinders, which are gas ducts.
EFFECT: reduced noise level exhaust steam jet.
