SUBSTANCE: samples are additionally measured with application of control source with known additional activity of beta-irradiating radionuclides, and content of target radionuclide is determined by formula a = n C S ( n S n B ) ( n C S + S n S ) E V , where a is volume activity of target radionuclide, Bq·dm-3; nS is rate of pulse count, registered in measurement of liquid sample, s-1; nB is rate of count of measurement means background pulses, s-1; E is efficiency of measurement means, determined by measurement of known activity of beta-irradiating radionuclides in bidistillate, fraction; nCS is rate of pulse count registered in measurement of control source in bidistillate, s-1; nCS+S is rate of pulse count, registered in measurement of liquid sample together with control source, s-1; V is volume of measuring cuvette, dm-3.

EFFECT: simplification of determination of beta-irradiating radionuclide activity in liquid samples of complex chemical composition.
