SUBSTANCE: specific coding table entries used for a MIMO system of lesser dimension (i.e. having a relatively small number antennae), can be used to create a coding table for the MIMO system of higher dimension (i.e. having a relatively large number of antennae). Entries in rank 1 of the coding table associated with a MIMO system having four transmitting antennae is used to once more compose entries for ranks 1-8 of two base matrices for the base MIMO coding table associated with eight transmitting antennae.

EFFECT: improved method.
