FIELD: information technology.

SUBSTANCE: to protect transmission of datagrams between automated devices (20a, 20b) from errors and manipulations using relatively negligible computational power, the invention proposes to generate coordinated lists (26) with series of secret character strings in both automated devices (20a, 20b). A control code is generated for datagrams using one of the secret character strings of the series. The control code in the receiving automated device (20b) is compared with a comparative control code which is also generated by the secret character string. A datagram is classified as accurate if the control code matches the comparative control code.

EFFECT: protecting transmission of a datagram from transmission errors and third party manipulations with high requirements for computational power of automated devices.
