FIELD: information technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a communication network with multiple network components which are connected to each other to exchange datagrams, wherein communication network comprises a first partial network and a second partial network, and each network component is connected with both partial networks. Communication network comprises at least some network components, which are connected to each other in form of a circuit, wherein each circuit of network components has a first network component, which is connected directly to first partial network, and a second network component, which is connected directly to second partial network, and wherein all network components are made so, that during redundant transmission of datagrams, datagrams are transmitted both in direction of first and direction of second partial network, wherein transmitted datagrams with respect to their content of useful data are identical and include a network identifier, which indicates partial network in direction where they are transmitted.

EFFECT: technical result consists in possibility of backup transmission of datagrams a communication network, which provides sufficient fail-safety.
