FIELD: fire-fighting facilities.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of thermal excitation of explosion and actuation of fire fighting aerosol generator for fire extinguishing. A method of thermally activated actuating of aerosol gas generator which has a striker (6). The striker (6) is loaded by an internal spring (7) and is fixed at the standby position. After thermal activation the fixation is stopped. The striker (6) is actuated by the internal spring (7) force. The striker (6) strikes a mechanical detonating cap (1), whereby the explosive in the detonating cap (1) is ignited and the booster charge (2) actuates. Hot gases of transformation of the booster charge ignite the pyrotechnic composition for extinguishing in an aerosol fire fighting gas generator. Only immediately after the thermal activation, at a fixed striker (6), the internal spring (7) is adjusted to a tension required for actuation of the detonating cap (1), and only after reaching this tension the striker (6) fixing is automatically released. To implement the method of actuation of the aerosol gas generator in the housing (5) there is a striker (6) and the internal spring (7) which covers the striker (6). The fixing device has a pressure plate (12) in the form of a piston, on which in the housing (15) the force of the outer spring (17) effects, and the actuating element in its standby position holds fixedly the pressure plate against the force of the outer spring (17).

EFFECT: method development for thermal excitation of explosion and actuation of the fire aerosol generator for fire extinguishing.
