FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a stable lithium hydroxide composition which contains lithium hydroxide, base oil and a fatty acid salt, which is used to produce grease obtained via a method which involves contacting a lithium hydroxide component, base oil and a fatty acid component, where the fatty acid component is added in amount of 3-10 wt % per total weight of the lithium hydroxide composition. The present invention also relates to a method of producing a lithium hydroxide composition, a method of using the lithium hydroxide composition to produce a soap concentrate and a method of using the lithium hydroxide composition to produce grease.
