FIELD: lubricants.
SUBSTANCE: in the present invention, a lubricating composition for bearings is proposed containing base oil and, as a thickener, complex calcium soap, in which carboxylic acids forming the above-mentioned complex calcium soap, unbranched substituted or unsubstituted C18-22 higher fatty acids, aromatic monocarboxylic acids with substituted or unsubstituted benzene rings and unbranched saturated C2-4 lower fatty acids are used, wherein the above-mentioned unbranched substituted or unsubstituted C18-22 higher fatty acids include begenic acid, and the amount of used begenic acid as a mass ratio to the total amount of the above-mentioned unbranched substituted or unsubstituted C18-22 higher fatty acids is from 25 to 70 wt.%.
EFFECT: purpose of the present invention is to create a lubricating composition that has a stable lubricating effect over a wide temperature range, which is essential in both respects to the service life of bearings and low-temperature characteristics, which are practical operational characteristics of the lubricant.
