FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: fuel pump, mostly for a system of power supply of a piston internal combustion engine comprises a body and at least one part at least mediately adjacent to its part and moving in process of pump operation. Onto the specified part of the body at its side facing the moving part, a coating is applied from polyetheretherketone reinforced with fibres, and the material of at least of the body part, onto which a coating is applied, contains or represents aluminium.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase wear resistance of pump parts.
