FIELD: instrument engineering.
SUBSTANCE: magnetoelastic transducer for determining mechanical stresses in ferromagnetic materials, comprising a housing, a main "П"-shaped core mounted in it with exciting and controlling the excitation level coils, is additionally provided with a "П"-shaped core on which a measuring coil is located, and the additional core is mounted symmetrically between the poles of the main core so that its plane is perpendicular to the main core plane and the housing is made of a conductive nonmagnetic material.
EFFECT: increase in noise immunity and sensitivity of measurements of mechanical stresses in ferromagnetic materials.
