FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of medicine, namely to orthopaedics and traumatology, and can be applied for surgical treatment of bilateral hip dysplasia with pathological antetorsion of proximal part of femur. True value of antetorsion angle is determined by means of computed tomography. After that age norm of antetorsion is determined. Desired angle of derotation is determined in the following way: value of age norm of antetorsion is subtracted from true value of antetorsion angle. Then mean diameter of femur circumference is determined. Requires length of length of proximal part of femur is determined by formula. 3-5 cm mark is applied intra-operationally along femur axis in supposed place of osteotomy. After that, osteotomy of femur is performed between lesser and greater trochanter and plate wedge is forced into femur neck. Rotation of distal fragment of femur outwards is performed for value in millimetres, obtained by formula. Plate is fixed with cortical screws. Wound is sutured layer-by-layer.

EFFECT: method makes it possible to carry derotation of proximal part of femur in accurately during operation and achieve symmetry of results in surgery on two femoral bones.
