FIELD: packaging industry.

SUBSTANCE: packaging the food product, such as a gel, comprises a first sheet comprising at least one section formed by folding the sheet material and located across the first sheet, at that the parts of the sheet material on the said section are interconnected to form an exfoliating weld or glue joint. The second sheet comprises at least one section formed by folding the sheet material and located across the second sheet, at that the parts of the sheet of material on the said section are interconnected to form an exfoliating weld or glue joint. The first and second sheets are interconnected, limiting the internal space for the product and are located so that these two sections formed by folding the sheet material protrude outwards and are located opposite each other, providing while stretching in the direction perpendicular to these sections, exfoliation of two exfoliating joints to form on each side of the package the opening providing access to the inner space with the product.

EFFECT: package enables to open it easily and quickly, especially with one hand, as well as to perform the exact dosage of the product taken from it.
