FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mining, particularly, to extraction of carbide teeth from drill bit roller cutter. Roller cone outer body is covered by heat-insulation material. Roller cone with inserted carbide teeth to temperature exceeding that of roller cone material tempering. Then, roller cone is cooled in coolant flow. Note here that roller cone is heated from inside and kept in cooling.
EFFECT: simplified extraction.
