FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to construction and specifically to structural materials, and can be used in producing lime and aggregate for making concrete. The method of producing structural materials from stone crushing carbonate wastes involves firing at 900°C, cooling and slaking lime. The lime is slaked with water in amount of 64% of the mass of CaO, which is required to obtain slaked lime and high-quality chips with the following chemical composition (%): SiO2 - 31.44; Al2O3 - 4.11; Fe2O3 - 2.63; MgO - 1.52; CaO - 36.30; SO3 - 0.38. The fuel used when firing is associated petroleum gas.
EFFECT: high efficiency of producing structural materials and low cost of producing structural materials from stone crushing wastes.
