FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to methods of producing polyester ketones by high-temperature polycondensation. The method includes a first step of reacting a dioxy compound and 4,4'-dichlorobenzophenol in the presence of potassium carbonate in N,N-dimethylacetamide in a current of nitrogen for 3 hours at temperature of 165°C and a second step of reacting the formed oligomers with terminal phenoxide groups with 4,4'-difluorobenzophenol for 4 hours in the same conditions.
EFFECT: optimising the synthesis process, obtaining high-molecular weight polyester ketones, low cost of the product and avoiding the gel-formation process.
