FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: for the purpose of prediction the postoperative inflammatory complications following a colorectal cancer surgery, on the 3rd-5th postoperative day, the immunocytochemistry aims at leukocyte TLR 2, TLR 3, TLR 4 detection in ascites; the study involves the 1/200 dilution of the above receptor antibodies and the 12-hour incubation in a cold room at temperature +4 - +8°C, and if observing a positive TLR 2 and/or TLR 3 and/or TLR 4 response, the inflammatory complications within the surgical area are predicted, while a negative response show the absence thereof.
EFFECT: method enables predicting the development of the inflammatory complications within the surgical area; it is characterised by simplicity, availability, information value and reliability.
