METHOD FOR INSTANT DIAGNOSIS OF EXUDATE INFECTION IN PANCREATOGENIC PERITONITIS Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC G01N33/48

Abstract RU 2684424 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine and can be applied to determine the indications for early re-laparoscopic sanitation of the abdominal cavity in patients with pancreatogenic peritonitis. Method of instant diagnosis of infection of exudate with pancreatic peritonitis, which consists in determining the physico-chemical properties of biological fluid, characterized in that a series of dilutions of peritoneal exudate is prepared in distilled water for pancreatogenic peritonitis of various concentrations: 1:1, 1:2 and 1:4, current of 0.01, 0.04, 0.08 and 0.1 mA is passed through the flow electrode of the joulemeter, the dependence of the current operation on time for each sample is determined, the dynamics of the electrochemical parameters are evaluated: when the current is over 12 mJ (on average 22.3 ± 3.5 mJ), the exudate is assessed as infected and exhibits indications for repeated laparoscopy and sanitation of the abdominal cavity.

EFFECT: invention can be applied to determine indications for early re-laparoscopic sanitation of the abdominal cavity in patients with pancreatic peritonitis.
