FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: rotary linear coupler comprises a fixed base and a coaxial platform that rotates at the limited angle, being joined to each other with a power cable. One end of the cable is fixed on the base, and the second one - on the rotary platform. The middle part of the cable is laid on the base in several turns freely around the axis of rotation. Rigid connection of cable ends is done with establishment of electric contact between cable ends and contract groups fixed both on the base and the rotary platform. The rotary linear coupler comprises additional cable channels, installed in parallel to to the base available on the hollow pipe, through which cables stretch towards the contract groups of the base. Opposite ends of cables are connected to contact groups on jackets of the rotary platform that surround the pipe. In areas of cables stretching via the walls of the pipe there are quick-detachable pressing devices installed for fixation of these cables, which provide for action at its mechanism for replacement of any cable in any channel during repair without dismantling of the whole device.

EFFECT: higher extent of device repairability, due to provision of the possibility to replace a wire during repair in its any channel without dismantling of the whole device.
