SUBSTANCE: video image is one of a set of images corresponding to multi-view video content and having various viewpoints with respect to one or similar scene and displays one of the various viewpoints, and the video encoder includes: an encoder for encoding with prediction of the motion vector for a first unit in the image and the disparity vector for a second unit in the image using a predicting parameter of the motion vector and a predicting parameter of the disparity vector, respectively, wherein the image corresponds to multi-view video content. The predicting parameter of the motion vector, used for encoding with motion vector prediction, is extracted from motion vectors for units neighbouring the first unit, and the predicting parameter of the disparity vector, used for encoding with disparity vector prediction, is extracted from disparity vectors for units neighbouring the second unit.

EFFECT: high encoding efficiency.
