SUBSTANCE: proposed process comprises reception of texture fragment associated with one or more coded units of video data that represent the texture data. Note here that texture fragment comprises one or more coded units and texture fragment header including elements of syntax that make the texture fragment characteristics. In compliance with this process, depth fragment of depth type component associated with one or more coded units of depth data corresponding to texture type component is received. Note here that texture fragment comprises one or more coded units and texture fragment header including elements of syntax that make the texture fragment characteristics. First fragment is decoded. Note that first fragment includes the texture fragment. Note here that first fragment has header including syntax elements that represent characteristics of the first fragment. Common elements of syntax for second header fragment for first fragment are defined.

EFFECT: ruled out redundancy of fragment header sizes owing to application of syntax elements with reiteration of magnitudes for syntax common elements for depth fragments and texture.
