SUBSTANCE: in response to receiving a message with a functionality declaration, which contains functionalities, an activation message requesting at least one functionality from said functionalities is set to a device over a data channel; and in response to the activation message, a notification message is received from the device over said data channel, said notification message indicating whether said functionality from the activation message was acknowledged. In another version of the invention, a message with a functionality declaration, which contains functionalities, is sent; in response, an activation message requesting at least one functionality from said message with a functionality declaration is received over a data channel; and then in response to the activation message, a notification message is sent to the device over a data channel, said notification message indicating whether said functionality from the activation message was acknowledged.

EFFECT: high efficiency of activating device functionalities.
