SUBSTANCE: invention relates to communication. Technical result is achieved by receiving, from another electronic device in an infrastructure network, a request for a status reporting message having a status reporting format, wherein the status reporting indicates the health state of the electronic device; in response to receiving a request, transmitting to another electronic device status reporting messages, using status reporting format used in accordance with messaging protocol, wherein the status reporting format comprises: a profile field, configured to indicate a profile identifier, and a vendor identifier, wherein the profile identifier indicates a specific provider identifier for the profile, in which the status code value is determined, and the vendor profile indicates a vendor providing the profile identified by the profile identifier; and a status code, configured to indicate the status of the report, wherein the status code is interpreted at least in part with respect to the profile field.

EFFECT: technical result is enabling reliable transmission of health reports of an electronic device in the entire infrastructure network of devices.
