FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture, in particular, to poultry industry, namely, to a method and device for activation of water consumption by chickens when watering from nipple waterers. The method of activation of water consumption by chickens when watering from nipple waterers includes direct lighting of drops of water hanging from the nipples, in stable and differential modes of lighting. The method of activation of water consumption by chickens when watering from nipple waterers may also include additional lighting of drops of water on the first day of growing chickens on the individual nipples with light in a colour variety, including red, orange, yellow, green.
EFFECT: device of activation of water consumption by chickens when watering from nipple waterers is implemented in a miniaturized housing with power supply unit, luminous element, lighting mode control, and is equipped with a clip for securing the device near the nipple, and the luminous element is mounted on the arrow-shaped extender with the possibility of approaching it to a drop of water on the nipple.
