FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely ophthalmology, and may be used to treat diseases of the paranasal sinuses. That is ensured by a spacer system comprising: a curved delivery guide passing through the nasal opening so that its distal end is housed in a mouth of the frontal sinus, or adjacent thereof, and a proximal end of the guide is outside the nasal opening. An elongated substance delivery catheter has proximal and distal ends. The spacer extends from the distal end of the delivery catheter and is connected via a fluid medium therewith. The spacer comprises: an elongated tubular shaft with a non-traumatic tip, an elastic container accommodating a therapeutic preparation and at least two foldable retainers adjoining to the container and overlapping thereabove. Additionally, the system comprises an enclosure detachably spaced above the spacer to fix the folded retainers.

EFFECT: invention provides the effective and comfortable drug delivery to the paranasal sinuses.
