FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: set of invention relates to methods of cleaning the airflows using photochemical reactions. Proposed device comprises sections of electrostatic precipitation, photo oxidation, photo catalysis and wetting. Said sections of photo oxidation and photo catalysis are equipped with radiation sources that feature barrow-band spectral sections with wavelength peaks of 120-360 nm. Proposed method comprises stages of electrostatic precipitation, photo oxidation, photo catalysis and wetting of airflow in aforesaid sections. Two radiators with different radiation spectra peaks are used in the sections of photo oxidation and photo catalysis.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of cleaning.
