FIELD: medical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: device can be used for terminating microorganisms of any kind including bacteria, viruses, fungi and other micro flora; it can be also used in all the premises where microbiologic cleanness is required. Device for disinfecting and deodorizing air and surfaces of premises has case, germicidal lamp irradiating mercury spectrum, including 254 nm and 185 nm, anti-ozone catalytic filter, fan and control and electric power units. Mode of operation of fan is chosen to satisfy the ration of L= (dm)3 n (sfxpf)/(svxpv). Ozone-generating UV lamps and two mutually related members are used in the closed case of the device. One member is anti-ozone catalytic filter with high gas-dynamic resistance and the other member is high-head axial fan. The fan used has to have head of no less than 150 Pa and discharge of 50 m3/hour and higher. Fan is proposed to be used at mode which would provide optimal process of disinfection. The mode should also provide longer service life.
EFFECT: improved efficiency of procedure.
