FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to processing of water by electrolysis aimed at its deferrisation, disinfection and can be used for purification of industrial, natural and surface sewage waters, as well as in home conditions for deferrisation of drinkable water. Method of purification of water from iron is realised by its electrolysis, where as material of cathodes, used are woven carbon-graphite fibrous materials, surface of which is modified with ozone-oxygen mixture. Woven carbon-graphite fibrous materials are reinforced with nickel net.
EFFECT: high degree of deferrisation and disinfection of purified water, increased catalytic efficiency of cathodes, extension of upper limit of initial iron concentration in purified water, ensuring ecological and technological safety of process, reduction of energy consumption and material costs.
