SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing fluoroalkanesulphinic acid esters. The method of producing a fluoroalkanesulphinic acid ester according to the invention is characterised by that it involves reacting fluoroalkanesulphinic acid of formula: (I) with an organic carbonate of formula (II) to form a fluoroalkanesulphinic acid ester and carbon dioxide which is released during the reaction.
EFFECT: obtaining trifluoromethanesulphinic acid esters, commonly referred to as "triflinic acid".
