FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: disclosed method of producing sulphonic acid anhydride is characterised by that it involves reaction of sulphonic acid of formula (II): Rf-SO3H (II), where: Rf is a hydrocarbon group with 1-20 carbon atoms which does not or does contain at least one halogen atom, preferably one fluorine atom, and a reactant which represents tautomerism of pseudohalides of an acid containing at least one carbon atom which participates in tautomerism, bonded with two halogen atoms having the following formulae: or where: R1, R2 denote a hydrogen atom, a linear or branched alkyl group containing 1-4 carbon atoms, a halogen atom, or R1 and R2 are bonded to form a 1,2-phenylene or 1,2-naphthyldiiyl group, X1, X2 denote a halogen atom, preferably both X1 X2 denote a chlorine atom.
EFFECT: method of producing sulphonic acid anhydride, more specifically trifluoromethane sulphonic anhydride.
