FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: control valve includes a body with supply and discharge branch pipes and a cage shutoff assembly installed inside it, which consists of a sleeve, in the walls of which there are mainly radial holes, and on inner surface there is a support sealing surface of the seat. Plunger is installed so that it can be moved axially inside the above sleeve and interacts with the above support surface of the sleeve. Sleeve is closed on one side and installed in a supply branch pipe of the valve; at that, on the plunger housing there are supports to provide its back-and-forth movement, which interact with a valve actuating mechanism. The actuating mechanism of the valve is connected to a linear position sensor of flow rate, which is preferably installed on the valve body. The valve actuating mechanism can be of hydraulic, pneumatic, electric or electromagnetic type.
