FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: hazard of fire effect is determined by detection of a gun ground shot flash due to generation and processing of a video data flow adapted for the logic of gun flash detection. Reliability of hazard detection is provided by results of automatic processing in accordance with energy, geometric, iconic and time criteria of the video sequence received by a receiver of optical radiation. The value of the detected hazard is assessed, and command transfer is generated in the form of an electric signal for actuation of a system of optical-electronic suppression, for instance, in the form of setting of aerosol masks. Fire effect reconnaissance is carried out with the help of optical-electronic reconnaissance equipment, comprising receivers of optical radiation, a video control device and a multiplexer. Hazard suppression is carried out with the help of optical-electronic suppression equipment, comprises launching plants of aerosol curtain setting, aerosol-forming ammunition and equipment of control and indication, comprising a control block and a control and indication panel. The length of the aerosol mask-barrier is provided by serial scattering of aerosol-forming compositions of each cassette in the territory of cassette block flight.
EFFECT: realisation of a group of inventions provides for protection against aiming fire of small arms in columns and groups of mobile equipment and objects in case of immediate ground attack.
