FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: method consists in multiple weighing of objects in different spatial positions (in horizontal and inclined states). Initial spatial position of the object is accepted as horizontal; total weight of the object and coordinates of the point of centre of mass in horizontal plane are determined for it. In order to determine weight of the object, values of reactions in supports, which have been determined as per force characteristics, are added, and coordinates of centre of mass in horizontal plane are obtained from mechanics equations. In order to determine the altitude of position of point of centre of mass, the object is inclined only along long side (rolling angle), thus defining step-by-step reactions in supports, as well as force developed in lifting devices (for example in hydraulic jacks). Reactions in supports are determined based on measurements of their deformations as per force characteristics, and forces in jacks as per the pressure of liquid, which is supplied in them. Lifting is performed till the sum of reactions in supports located in the zone being lifted and force in jacks become lower in comparison to the previous step, and sum of reactions of supports on the opposite side will not begin to rise in a stable manner. Data at this step of lifting (turn on crape) is used for calculation as per equations of moments of altitude of position of the object centre of mass.
EFFECT: possible measurements in cases of absence of direct weighing of objects, in an operating mode, and under conditions of restricted space so that accurate measurements of long objects of variable stiffness are provided.
