FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measurement equipment and can be used to measure coordinates of center of gravity of real objects (for example, vehicles), which can be inclined to angles ranging from tenths to one radian. Method includes measurement of object weight P, installation of object by two supports to scales, and by two or one remaining supports to horizontal site, which can move along vertical line, leveling of weights and platform cups, measurement of distance ɭ between supports located on scales and on platform, and recording of readings of weights R in this position; further installation of object in inclined position, changing height of platform relative to scale pan, and recording of balance readings in inclined position Rr. At that, difference of platform and weighing scale levels is additionally measured Δh in the inclined position of the object and calculating the vertical coordinate of the center of gravity of the object according to the corresponding formula. Besides, additionally inclination of object is measured α and calculating vertical coordinate of object center of gravity by corresponding formula.

EFFECT: reduced labor input and cost of measuring vertical coordinate of object center of gravity.
