SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a system for structured co-authored development of a document, the system having a server. The server contains one or more documents organised into sections, a document access rights module which stores user access rights for each document section, a document update processing module which processes user requests to share document updates with other users, and which processes user requests to receive document updates from other users, and a document reproducing module which reproduces a document for display on a client, such that sections of the document are updated by the shared document updates made by users. User access rights determine the degree to which a user can modify each document section.
EFFECT: high reliability of multi-user editing of documents.
