SUBSTANCE: method involves: receiving grouping information on a plurality of transmit antennae of a base station; obtaining a channel model for a channel between a mobile terminal and the base station; and determining an optimum precoding matrix corresponding to each antenna group according to the grouping information and the channel model, so as to construct a codebook used for precoding. The invention further discloses a method and apparatus for selecting a precoding matrix, as well as a method, apparatus and system for precoding.
EFFECT: adaptation to an increasing number of transmit antennae or base stations and precoding data using a codebook.
