FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely dental orthopaedics, and may be used for prosthodontic treatment using permanent dental prostheses with preserved pulp vitality. After ododentical abutment preparation has been completed, the abutment stump prepared for prosthetics is exposed to LED laser at a distance of 2-2.5 mm from the tooth stump surface, with a light guide having a thickness of 320 mcm moving circularly at rate 2-4 mm/s, wavelength 970 nm +/- 15 nm, power 1-1.5 Wt and frequency 75-100 Hz for 10-20 seconds. That is followed by casting to make a prosthesis to be fixed onto the abutments.
EFFECT: method enables a lower probability of post-prosthetic solid tissue hyperesthesia following the teeth preparation ensured by the exposure to the high-intensity LED laser light with the declared parameters and modes of use.
