FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely dental orthopaedics, and may be used for the prevention of hyperesthesia accompanying dental prosthetics using permanent dental prostheses with preserved pulp vitality. After ododentical abutment preparation has been completed, the abutment stump prepared for prosthetics is exposed to LED laser at a distance of 2-2.5 mm from the tooth stump surface, with a light guide having a thickness of 320 mcm moving circularly at rate 2-4 mm/s, wavelength 970 nm +/- 15 nm, power 1-1.5 Wt and frequency 75-100 Hz for 10-20 seconds.
EFFECT: method enables more effective and stable consequent prevention of hyperesthesia ensured by the exposure to the high-intensity LED laser light with the declared parameters and modes of use.
