SUBSTANCE: invention relates to control over power supplied from several power sources in elevator power supply system 14. In control over elevator power supply, power consumed by elevator motor 12 is defined. Charging of electric power storage system 22 is defined. In elevator motor operation regenerative behavior allows accumulating all the power generated by elevator motor in electric power accumulation system 32 if charging level in said system 32 is lower than minimum charging threshold. Total power generated by elevator motor is fed to primary power supply 20 if charging level in said system 32 is higher than maximum charging threshold. Total power generated by elevator motor is distributed between primary supply source 20 and aforesaid power accumulation system 32 at the ratio defined by power accumulation system charging level in case said level makes the magnitude between minimum and maximum charging level thresholds.
EFFECT: decreased overall dimensions, longer life.
