FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for power distribution in elevator system. Proposed system comprises current transducer primary circuit between the main power supply and regenerative drive 29, transducer 34 of power accumulation system charge level 36 and power control unit 30, 32. In control over power distribution measured is the current of primary circuit between the main power supply 20 and regenerative drive 29. Charge level of electric power accumulation system 36 is measured. Current magnitude and direction in secondary circuit between system 36 and regenerative drive 29 are controlled subject to the current of said primary circuit and power accumulation system charge level 36. Primary circuit current magnitude is kept at the level lower than threshold current. Power accumulation system charge level is kept within the limits of charge level apart from the cases when it is necessary to keep primary circuit current magnitude at the level lower than threshold current.
EFFECT: reduced power consumed by elevator system from primary power supply.
