SUBSTANCE: exit gas cleaning device (11) includes at least the following: at least partially electrically conducting first honeycomb body (12) with the first front side (3) and the first rear side (26), at least partially electrically conducting second honeycomb body (13) with the second front side (25) and the second rear side (27), intermediate space (15) between the first honeycomb body (12) and the second honeycomb body (13), electric power supply source (18) for creation of electric potential between the first honeycomb body (12) and the second honeycomb body (13), as well as several electrodes (6) that are fixed on the first honeycomb body (12), spread to intermediate space (15) through the first rear side (26) to the first length (8) and located at the first distance (16) before the second front side (25) of the second honeycomb body (13). Besides, cleaning method of automobile exit gases containing soot particles is described.
EFFECT: providing compactness, possibility of accurate control of electric field in order to perform effective exit gas cleaning.
