FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: device includes power direction monitoring unit, startup unit of minimum frequency, the first logic unit, the first timer, the first actuating unit, minimum voltage monitoring unit, the second timer, the second actuating unit, the third timer, the second logic unit, the first and the second monitoring units of state of switches of electric motors, the third logic unit and the third actuating unit. The first actuating unit is the output of the first power loss protection stage and it acts on deactivation of switch of input of bus section of 6 (10) kV switchgear, which lost the power, and on field suppression of synchronous electric motors. The second actuating unit is the output of the second protection stage and it acts on deactivation of synchronous electric motors in bus section which lost the power. The third actuating unit acts on deactivation of one electric motor in case two electric motors operate on one section of buses of switchgear of the substation.

EFFECT: improving stability of process systems owing to enhancing protection action and reducing the downtime of process units.
